Where Kruel is?
===============
::Currently the company isn't incorporated.
Where Kruel can go?
===================
::Re Register the company, with Andrew Whalan as the Sole Shareholder.
What do we want to get out of Kruel? Key Values?
================================================
::Further Skills
::Job Experience
::Seeing Kruel be a financially stable Entity
::Profits and Rewards
::Careers and Opportunities
::Seeing a Completed Successful Product
::Internationallly Recognisable Entity
::Self Sustainted
::Committing people to Freedom of Choice
::Professionalism
What are our goals?
===================
::A wikipedia page with a star up the top corner!
::"A real company, That makes real money, That makes real games"
::Tangible Product
Finances
========
::1% Club - Members to commit 1% of NET income (eg. $500 after tax = $5 committance)
::Budget - Associate % to what area we would like it in. eg. Merchandise, Rewards, etc.
::Rewards and Recognition - Instead of payment, Gift them a new Computer, etc dependant on what they put in.
Costs of Company Registration
=============================
::ASIC Annual Registration - $212/year
::Initial Setup - $400 - $1500 initial
Benefits of Company Registration
================================
::Liability - Stops a sole trader from being the target of Suing
::Ownership - Can own property. eg. Intellectual Property, Physical Property. Better Safeguards from theft of IP. IP will be attributed towards the people who do it.
::Merchandising - Business Merchandise
::Sponsorship - Companies are able to sponsor Kruel, eg. Advertising on Website, etc
::Chris Ho: "Why are the Minties Melted"
How are we going to Maintain our Income?
========================================
::Charge for what it is worth. If it's only a few hours worth of time, it'd be worth $10, not $100. Cost Per Hours
::Added DLC for $2-3 adding few more hours of content
::DRM pushes away customers
::The industry is currently in a position where the game works better when it's a pirated game, in comparison to bought (eg. Ubisoft Always on DRM), we want to create
::a game which users will want to play. DRM is not the way to go.
::Sales - STEAM makes a good example. People would pay things for $2-5 compared to $20
::Distribution - STEAM, Homebrew Downloads system via our Website
Projects
========
== EON ==
== BRAINSTORMED ADDITIONS ==
::Stability - Server crashed, and the client locked up, instead of coming back to a "Disconnect due to network issues prompt"
::Graphical look - Better Graphical appeal for normal customers. Flashy
::Story - Abstract background story for it
::Different Map Types / Layouts
::Level playing field - User can join and have similar resources to others
::Terrain Effects - Hills, valleys etc... Possibly deformable
::Fluidic Terrains - Lava can destroy units, shoot a hole in the volcano and it spews lava down a hill. Water slows down units. Sand slower. Trees Defense
::Strategic Factors dependant on Terrain
::Custom Designable Maps
::Variable Energy Sources
::If it doesn't have a speed value or an attack it's a square. eg. energy absorbtion tower
::If it doesn't have a speed value and has an attack value it's a cylinder. eg. defensive tower
::Fog of War - Fully Explored or Fully Shown
::Stances - Agressive, Passive, Defensive
::Pre-defined Unit Builder - create custom units before the game, so that you can pre-plan strategy. Create your own Building types, etc.
::Vote to Pause - eg. if it's dinner time at a LAN
::Group Operations - Move, Formations, Attack, Build
::Good Pathfinding, and Collision Detection
::Critters, Kill them for excess Energy
::Optionally Enable Bounties for killing enemies.
== KEY ITEMS ==
::Stability
::Group Operations inc. collision detection
::Improve UI
== CRAZY GAME IDEA ==
::Spermicidal
::Bunch of Homicidal Sperms fighting over access into the egg.
== BATTLESD ==
::Can be in a functional working copy within the next 2 weeks
::Currently lacking the Offensive System
== BATTLESHEEP ==
::Previous Idea's Scope should be changed from slow turn-based to an Action game. Something users would love to get as an Indie game for $3-5, add new DLC
::for $1-2
::for another few hours worth of missions, new weapons, and new maps
== PRAELIUM ==
::Low Recurring Cost. If you don't play it, you get hours back. Fast Paced action similar to Freelancer. Ships you can physically walk around and replace
::items yourself. Random little minigames to give you better effects and interactivity
::Customising Designed Ships - Modules etc. Customising Items. Allows you to put items into a weapon to effect tracking speed, damage, etc.
::Allow users to submit idea's for new ships, graphical for in-game items or merch or cash
::Top players get bonuses to play as they are key users in the game, and keep it going
== GENERAL VALUES ==
::Games have made $3 Million in a few days by adding a new Gimmick. eg. WoW's Celestial Pony. That is one good example of monetising off games, but we would like
::to add some kind of value other than a gimmick.
::Creating an in-game community that people want to get involved
::People buy games physically because of the extra gimmicks and merch (story, concept art books, game manuals, etc).
::Cater to all needs where we're able. If people want ebooks with story in it, create it. If people want books with concept art we create it. Do this in-house
::to save on costs. eg. spending 7k on printing once, and only getting the items, instead of buying gear for 10k, and needing to print things multiple times for
::7k each time.
== WORKING GROUPS ==
::Keep accountability for all users by having working groups meeting every week or so. eg. irc, in person, mumble, etc.
::All Working Groups must have a leader
::Communication is KEY
== INITIAL GOALS ==
::We need to Push towards the closest goals to being complete, and get it up and running, eg. battlesd.com can be used for quick financial input, as well as
::getting the brand name out there
== FUTURE DIRECTIONS ==
== WEBSITE ==
::Creation of Corporate Layout for kruelstudios.com - Nick Turon
::Creation of Layout kruel.org - Anthony Spruce / John Kermode
::Creation of Layout for battlesd.com - Anthony Spruce / John Kermode / Jono Klassen
::Site looks old and outdated, and requires new styles. More gradients. Less solid colours.
::Forum - for potential logging of data
::IRC Logs - behind login portal. for authenticated users only with full logs of kruel.org
== MERCHANDISE ==Friday
::On Hiatus until projects are online, and a product has been created
== BUSINESS CARDS ==

::Flier drop around the uni, after battlesd is in a playable version
== RECRUITMENT ==

::Those involved, posting small weekly updates if they've done things, and if they haven't, at least have activity showing on the website, whether it be for
::idea's etc.
